Today was a WONDERFUL day! It has been well over 72 hours and the culture for Zachary's infection is still negative!!! They are going to continue to watch it for the next few days just to make sure. Also, they did a MRI on him this morning to make sure that there were no pockets of bacteria built up on the damaged part of his brain and the doctors said that the results looked exactly like they wanted them to look and that everything checked out!!!! PRAISE GOD! We have had nothing but great news today! Also, he weighs 2 pounds 13 ounces and is getting bigger!! We will keep you all updated on the continued results of his bacteria sample.
